5 ways Angiogram Experience And symptoms,Attack,Failure Heart

H

e goes for walks on weekends and takes his health seriously. Every now and then he would test his heart to make sure it was okay. After all, his father died of a heart attack when he was quite young.

He returned from his walk with a strange look on his face. It's a hot day, and the pain in the middle of his chest is irritating him from taking quick breaths in such air.

He didn't go. It's actually getting worse. So he had to climb the stairs to catch his breath. He also had to stop more than once to get from his car to his office. Time to see a doctor.

Doctors couldn't find anything wrong, but he was referred to a cardiologist just to be safe. The cardiologist didn't see anything either. He had an angiogram done just to be safe.

But that didn't scare him. It scared the rest of the family, especially those who had enough medical knowledge to know what to do. Just wanted to bring this up, especially since everyone is walking on eggshells...eggshells that I don't think are necessary.

The family must be scared. Three arteries were almost blocked. 76, 93 and 98%. One painful artery does all the work for the other three. Angioplasty and three stents were placed in the coronary artery.

Many changes have happened since then. What the whole family eats has changed. Practice begins on weekdays. Find ways to relieve stress.

Not enough.

At the next visit, he ordered another angiogram, which led to another angioplasty. A third study required stents other than angioplasty.

This is the scary part. Doctors are very strict when seeing patients. Next time there will be no angioplasty and no stent. Next time will be an open heart.

We haven't gotten there yet. We hope not necessarily. However, sometimes we fear more than the first angiogram.

Just because you eat right, exercise, and have all the tests doesn't mean you don't have heart problems. If you experience symptoms of heart problems, see your doctor. It could save your life.
